Kim was born and raised in the Chatham, Ontario area. He is the son of Garry Pidgeon and Ann Cox.
At age 12 started to learn the drums and continued to expand his talents as a vocalist, adding both lead and harmony vocals with local bands, and playing in retirement homes and nursing homes.
In 1977 Kim joined the traveling band, “Three Lane Highway” and toured Ontario and Southern Quebec. Some work included radio and TV shows out of Sherbrooke, Quebec.
In 1980, he returned home to attend St. Clair College in General Business Administration and assisted on the family owned Farm in Harwich Township. Moving forward he worked at the Dominion Glass Factory for 8 years in Maintenance. In 1991 attended St. Clair College and graduated in the trades as a General Machinist and worked in the Tool & Die trade as a CNC Programmer Operator and Manager of Quality Control. Kim is now employed as a Funeral Assistant at McKinlay Funeral Home in the Chatham area.
Currently Kim resides in Chatham, Ontario with his wife Dawn. His children Stacey (Ehren) and Niki (Dan), Grandchildren Leighton and Rhett, Vance and Dylan reside in Phoenix, AZ.
His hobbies include music, family reunions, biking, volleyball and swimming.
