Dear Marion, Denise and family - my heart felt sympathises to you all. I had to leave early for London this morning and thought of Sonny and your family as I came into Highgate behind this school bus. I was reflecting that I saw and was with Sonny Garrod for most everyday of my childhood.

This leaves great saddness in my heart, the best bus driver I ever had , a wonderful compassionate heart for all in the community, a legacy of love has been left for us all who were touched by Sonny, his magical touch will leave many memories in many of us for a lifetime , I for one will never forget how great he was with us and our children when he had the opportunity to make life a little easier and more productive for this family, God gave him many talents and so many gifts to spread around and he did just that everyday of his life, he will be missed a great deal by us all.
