Obituary of Lodena Drewery
Drewery, Lodena Cathlean “Dena” - formerly of RR1, Charing Cross, passed away at Maple City Residence on Wednesday, January 4th, 2017, age 94. Born in Raleigh Township, daughter of the late Pearl (nee Bennett) and Wilaferd Russell. Wife of the late Percy Drewery (1978). Mother and mother-in-law of Alice and Mark Stirling of Blenheim. Sister of Faye (late Ross) Stokes, and predeceased by siblings Lorne (Erma) Russell, Carl Russell, Flossie (John) Smith and Wilda (Warren) Jenner.
Sister-in-law of Hazel and Stewart Irving. Also survived by sisters-in-law Jeanette (Raeburn) Drewery, Vera (Mel) Drewery and Shirley (Floyd "Pop") Drewery. Predeceased by Bert Drewery (RCAF 1944).
Survived by many nieces and nephews and missed by her loving caregivers at Maple City Residence.
Visitation will be held at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park St., Blenheim, on Saturday January 7th, 2017 from 10am until the time of the Funeral Service at 11am. Reception will immediately follow the Funeral Service. Burial to take place at the Pardoville Union Cemetery following Reception.
