Obituary of Peter Anderson "Andy" Fleming

Fleming, Peter Anderson "Andy" - of Chatham, formerly of Blenheim and Rodney, passed away on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at Riverview Gardens, Chatham. Born in Aldborough Township on June 3, 1921 to parents the late Francis "Frank" John Fleming and Sarah Jane McDougall. Beloved husband of Louella Norene Fleming (nee Green). Loving father of Sandra (Ron) Jones of Chatham, Peter (Monika) Fleming of Cornwall, Karen (Michael) Pope of Edmonton, and Mary Jane (Guy) DeVouge of Edmonton.

Dear grandfather of Angie Fleming, Connie Fleming, Helena (Andrew) Sheppard, Candace Fleming, Rebecca Fleming, Sheri (Michael) Sparrow, Allison (Taner) Cairns, Myla (Adrian) Dresar, Kara DeVouge, Kristopher (Marlo) DeVouge, Ryan (Cassandra) DeVouge, and Meaghan (Nathan) Torchia.

Survived also by three step-grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Brother of Donna (late Walter) Miller of Rodney and Mildred (late Harold) Baker of Rodney. Will be missed by several nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by his brother John (late Marion) Fleming.

Andy was a faithful worshipper of Jehovah and spent many hours preaching the good news of God's Kingdom to all whom he met.  He also loved working to prepare the site of the present Kingdom Hall in Blenheim before it was built.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 353 Talbot Street E., Blenheim, on Saturday, September 23, 2017 at 2pm. A private family burial will be held in the Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim. Donations in memory of Andy may be made to the Kingdom Hall or Watch Tower Society.
