Obituary of Robert Lucien Lariviere

LARIVIERE: Robert Lucien

Passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus after a short battle with cancer on Thursday, September 28, 2017 at the age of 68. Born September 23, 1949 in Turgeon, Quebec to the late Joseph and Jenny (Cudworth) Lariviere.

Predeceased by his loving wife Joy (Shepley) (2012).

Survived by son Rob and Tammy (Gow) Lariviere, daughter Tammy and Marshall Martin. Proud grandfather of Mike, Jennifer, Josh and Tiffany. Great-grandfather to Lilah Dawn.

Brother to Diane Lariviere (Tony Davis). Brother-in-law to Ron Doolittle of Blenheim, Sandra and Robert Thompson of Blenheim, Georgina and Gord Neil of California, Linda and Brian McCracken of Blenheim, and Ethel and George Evans. 

"Mon Ami" to Evelyn Clermont. 

Predeceased by his infant daughter Suzie, infant grandson Thomas Martin, his brothers David, Philippe and Lionel, his sister Suzanne, father and mother-in-law Fred and Lillian Shepley,brothers-in-law Stan Oakes, Vern Shepley and sister-in-law Cora Doolittle. Robert will be missed by so many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. 

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Sunday, October 1, 2017from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 7:00 - 9:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the Funeral Home at 1:30pm on Monday with Rev. Bill Terris officiating. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
