Obituary of Carol Anne Vince
A resident of Blenheim, Carol Vince passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on October 16, 2019 at the age of 76.
Born in Chatham, Carol was the daughter of the late Fred and Blanche (Souligny) Hughes.
Beloved wife of 55 years to Larry Vince of Blenheim.
Loving mother to Rick (Loretta) Vince of Chatham and Jeff (Janet) Vince of Sarnia.
Grandmother to Justin, Ryan, Gavin, Johanna, Matt, Kyle, Jake, and Brett Vince.
Sister in law to Ada Hellerman, Jim Vince, Walter (Pearl) Vince, Janice (Gerry) Beckett, and Jim Lutz.
Predeceased by brother and sister in laws, Wilfred Hellerman, Elenor (Clarence) Nussey, Theresa Vince, Linda Lutz, and Paul Vince.
Sadly missed by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Carol spent countless hours volunteering at the Blenheim Community Nursing Home and in her past time enjoyed gardening, knitting, (and spoiling her grandchildren -- the loves of her life.)
Cremation has taken place.
Visitation will take place on Thursday October 24, 2019 at McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park St in Blenheim from 2:00pm - 4:00pm and 7:00pm - 9:00pm. A private graveside service will take place at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Carol to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
