Dear Mr.Knight, David, Margaret (Mugsy) and family, I was deeply saddened to learn of Mrs Knights passing and I extend my sincerest condolences. I was fortunate to know Mr & Mrs Knight at a time in my life where I needed direction, purpose and simple encouragement. I often and fondly recall the countless track and field practices, loading up in the blue duster heading to a track event in London, Etobicoke or Windsor for the Kennedy Relays, Mrs Knight always near the finish line and full of encouragement. I am one of the fortunate ones that recieved a handmade gift from Mrs Knight, mine a basketball player, the figure hand painted with my school colours and #, yes I still have it and cherish now as much as I did when I received it. A wonderful person and I am sure she will be missed. Again my sincerest condolences. Doug sales

Doug, thank you so much for that. My mom did so much for so many people, as did my dad. I could go on about how much she did for me alone let alone all the kids she helped in some way, whether it was words of encouragement, crafted gifts, or tutoring after school. I have heard many stories, yesterday and today, of people who still have gifts created by mom, some being passed on as "Jean hats" or "Jean stuffies" to their kids. Thank you for sharing your appreciation of mom.
