May Allan's memory be a blessing as he was in life. A gentle constant presence wherever Heather was, Allan was too. Their love story showed us the beauty of truly being as one in marriage. Allan, or Big Poppa as I affectionately referred to him most of the time, was a great man and a great friend to have known. More than once in my life when I found myself unemployed and things were getting tough, even though he certainly didn't need to, he hired me on as a painter. My closest friend, his son Cory, would pick me up in the morning and drop me off in Florence. Big Poppa always made sure I had breakfast and off we'd go to paint. I am fortunate enough that he let me pick out one of his paintings to have. I have and will always cherish it. I'm immensely thankful to have known him. A wonderful man and father and friend
Heather, Nate, Cory, Amber, and families. I am so very sorry for your loss. I will remember Al fondly. The Jones home is somewhere I saw a lot of love and laughter; a big part of that due to Al, in his role as loving husband and father. My thoughts are with you at this difficult time.

It saddens me to read that Al has passed away. I have such great memories of Al and you from years gone by. I don’t remember Al ever not have a smile, happy to see someone or of being angry. I hope all your wonderful memories sustain you and your family now and in the future.
