They encouraged us through some difficult years, helping to keep all in perspective.

I am so sorry to Murray’s family. I know he loved you all so very much! I am happy to say that I was blessed to become Murray’s friend through volunteering, and then my placement at Village On The Ridge. I loved listening to his life stories when I visited him, and to see the love between him and Doris always warmed my heart. He was an amazing man, and he will be truly missed.
My very deepest sympathy on the loss of a very fine gentleman l got to know over many years. Doris my heart goes out to you

Condolences to the entire Scoyne family. I remember Murray as being very patient and friendly to a bunch of teenagers taking over the basement at all hours. Maybe John heard about it once we left? My Dad took my sons across the road and introduced them to “Mr. Murray” over 25 yrs ago, and to this day they still refer to him as such. It makes me smile. I guarantee that my Dad was right there yesterday, ready for their first 18 heavenly holes.

Please accept our sincere condolences on the passing of Murray. It was a lifetime ago that John, Jim, Brian, Randy, Tim, and I, spent many days and weekends trying to stay out of mischief. Those were days filled with friendship, innocence, exploration, and laughter. I miss those days, and friendships.
