Johnny Malott was a household name in our home. Being a diesel mechanic, John would be called upon alot. Charles Dorner (Dorner Transport) our dad, who we lost 2 years ago at the age of 92. Depended on John's knowledge and expertise of the trucks. Didn't matter what day or time if dad needed help John was there. If John was working on one of the ferries at Walpole or Sombra and dad called, John would go home have supper then run down to Dorners yard to see what had to be done to get the truck back on the road. I can't tell you how much Dad respect him ..Johnny Malott.. If he wasn't working on trucks he was working on boats. Our deepest condolences for both your mom and your dad. Dorner Family

Hello. I am just reading this now and also that your Mom has passed as well. You do not know me but your mom and dad were very good friends of my mom Clara (Hoskins) Parker. Mom passed away in July. I always remember her telling me even at the nursing home. My special friend Mavis called me today to say hi and check up on me. I have no doubt that your mom and dad will be missed as they both sound very special. They are all together once again I'm sure having the time of their lives. Cherish all those special moments.

Together again which is all they ever wanted. Two of the best neighbours I ever had, lots of laughs and quiet times with them both. Rest in Peace John I am sure Shadow was waiting by the Rainbow bridge. Condolences to the family you will miss him.
