I have very fond memories of Marilyn at Pizazz. As a co-op student there in the 90s, I learned a lot from her and we shared a lot of laughs. She will be missed!

We want to let you know how saddened and shocked we were to learn of your mother's passing. She was a very special friend for the two of us over the past 30 years...meeting first at the Kent Branch Genealogy. The friendship developed as we shared plays in Petrolia, concerts in the park and many times of fun chats over tea, with a creative flair, in her kitchen. In the past few years it has been mostly by telephone (when we smiled and knew when the conversation was concluded) .We admired so much her energy, passion and style surrounding a wonderful friendship and we are so grateful. She will certainly be missed by each one of you but may she be forever in our hearts as she organizes her heavenly home.

I'm so very sorry to read about Marilyn's passing. She was a special friend. We used to walk regularly when she lived on William St and I on Water St. I moved to Burlington 20 years ago but we corresponded regularly. I will miss you, Marilyn. What an elegant lady. Suzanne Hatton

My sincere condolences Kelly. I remember meeting Marilyn as a student's mom, your mom, who was such a great, supportive mom. We saw each other over the years, always had a lovely chat and said we must get together. I'm glad that you have been able to keep me updated about her recently. With sympathy, thoughts and prayers, Mary

We are very sorry to hear of Marilyn's passing. She and our mother were good friends and often did musical acts together for a while but mostly I remember her often popping in on her way somewhere to have a chat or play a tune. She tuned a dull day into a great day with her lively personality and great talents. I'm sure she will be missed by all who knew her.

Your Mother at times seemed larger than life … like the Bill Dolamore photo of her that filled the space above his studio’s main entrance and could be viewed by all driving south on Queen… I met her when she was 19 and was impressed by her determination, focus and energy. She maintained those characteristics throughout her life. May she Rest In Peace. To my cousins… Warm hugs from the shore of Chaleur, Barbara and Philippe

I am so sorry your loss. Marilyn and I became friends 6 years ago and we shared many happy visits together discussing all types of things encountered on life’s journey. We had many philosophical conversations and always evident at the heart of them was Marilyn’s strong work ethic, her love of family and its history, and her kindness to all who crossed her path. I considerate myself fortunate to be her friend these past years and I will truly miss her. Rest in peace my dear friend, Marilyn.
