R.I.P. - Danny. Dan was one of the first people that I met (over the phone), after I was transferred here from Toronto, to manage the Loeb Cash and Carry about 1985. He worked at Bedells Foodservice and he would call me every morning, at about 6 am for "out of stocks" that we could supply to Bedells, when they only had 1 truck on the road. He always had a smile, a laugh and a joke for me at that time of the day. I lost track of Dan for awhile, but I saw him a few times at the KBD, always accompanied with his best friend Yvonne Rivers, my former postal carrier! To Dan's family and Yvonne, he will be missed by many.
