Bob was a great neighbour for around 18 years till we moved. I was sad to hear of his passing. We had many discussions about the nascar races since he was a big fan of Dale Earnhardt. We also shared pools with all our kids, Great memories.

My sincere condolences to Bob's family. Bob was my area manager when I was manager of 230 N Christina St in Sarnia in the mid nineties. He was great to work with and always fully supportive. Even after a reorganization of the areas and Sarnia was no longer his responsibility he was there as a sounding board when I had some issues. He will be missed. Ian Lancaster

I got to know Bob 15 years ago. He was a great neighbour, who shared his knowledge of caring for a lawn or our pools. We both shared a passion of our beloved Canadiens. As neighbours, we shared jokes and funny reminiscences from the past. He will certainly be missed around here. Garry Lambert

I worked at RBC in Chatham back in 1991. I was right out of school and as a trainee Mr Bromley was the “man”. There were times he’d seem ultra serious and was dealing with a significant challenge and then 10 min later there would be a big smile, a kind word and a “hey bud”. It didn’t matter who you were in the organization or what level, we were all the same. I remember one day Bob said about a very significant customer situation….. “ he puts his pants on one leg at a time just like you, treat him like a human and call him” …. And he was right. I’m now a senior executive at another bank and while some of those lessons were over 30yrs ago, I’ve never forgotten Mr Bromley. RIP sir

I met Bob when I bought my first Kia and he came out to my workplace to pick up the car for an oil change. He took the time to chat with you like an old friend. He always talked about his children and grandchildren. I didn't know Bob well, but I definitely enjoyed seeing him at the dealership. Such a kind and pleasant man. I am going to miss our Sunday text messages during Nascar and Football. Bobby always put a smile on my face he will be missed greatly and I am so sad he had to go through this. His number 1 priority was to take care of his beloved wife. Bobby's favorite saying to me was "tuff titty" when I hinted at work that I could use a coffee and would like him to go lol....I love you Bobby and my final words are going to have to be Boom chicka boom...probably only the 2 of us will get that
