To Gerald’s family and friends, We were saddened to learn of Gerald’s passing. When we first met Gerald many years ago, we quickly learned of his passion for all sports but connected more over our shared love of women’s hockey. No matter where we ran into Gerald ,he always had that sparkle in his eye and winning smile. He was a natural teacher. He was always keen for us to learn new signs and was incredibly patient with our efforts. He was a wonderful man and will be missed. Our condolences to you. Dick and Norma Smith

I have known Gerald for many years, going back to when we first met and worked at Union Gas. Gerald and my wife Pat, were Ringette coaches for his daughter Jennifer, and our daughter Christine, for a number of years. He was always a great person to be around. Just wished I could have learnt sign language rather than writing on a piece of paper all the time!!! Pat and I extend our deepest sympathies to you and your family..
