I'm shocked to learn of Cathy's passing. We haven't spoke much in the last two years but Cathy was the Mother figure I needed when I was going through my divorce. She was always a listening ear and if I called on her she always answered. I had the pleasure of meeting John too and some of Cathy's fosters ( dogs). I know she loved her family and chosen family very much. She was so proud of all of her children and grandchildren. She never complained even though I knew she was hurting at times. Cathy, I could never thank you enough for all that you did for me and my daughter. You always had great advice and I took your advice; because of you I was able to leave a very bad situation. The konecny's are wonderful people. All my love to Cathy's family no matter how you were family to her. We've lost a beautiful soul but heaven gained an angel with a heart of gold. My heart is broken but I hope that Cathy knew how much she meant to us all. My deepest sympathies to all who loved her. I love you Cath always have and always will. <3.

My condolences to John & the whole Konecny family! I only knew Cathy for about a year but had a Great fondness to her right away as did so many at 570 Park Ave. W.
