Ella Johanna Strysio (nee Scherle) of Ridgetown, passed away peacefully (with her family by her side) at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus on Monday, October 25, 2021, at the age of 96.

She was well known on Oak Street for her quirky sense of humour, plate-sized dahlias, record-breaking pumpkins, unlimited supply of chocolate chip cookies and her love of neighbourhood dogs, cats, and children. She also enjoyed many happy celebrations with her Kaffeeklatsch friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Village on the Ridge for their care and compassion.
