LESY: Roger -
A resident of R.R. # 2 Merlin, Roger Lesy passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham Campus with family at his side on Wednesday, February 5, 2025 at the age of 78.
Born in Chatham, Roger was the son of the late Bill and Celina (née Missiaen) Lesy.
Beloved husband to the late Greta (née Delrue).
Loving father to Christine Lesy (Dwayne Cooper) and the late Randy Lesy.
Proud Grandpa of Ashley Schram (Richard) and Shalynn Thomson.
Special companion to Judy Roy.
Dear brother to Pauline Cammaert (late Walter) and Mary Gutteridge.
Brother-in-law to Larry Delrue (Joyce) and Gloria Zeenaeme (John).
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Roger and Greta farmed their entire lives on Raleigh Township with their family.
Roger will be remembered for his gift of the gab and winning smile.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim on Saturday, February 8, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm and on Sunday, February 9, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm. Vigil Prayers will be held Saturday at 3:30pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church, 95 Marlborough Street North, Blenheim at 11:30am on Monday, February 10, 2025. Interment to follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Blenheim.
Donations made in memory of Roger to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Foundation - Palliative Care would be appreciated by the family.
