Mann: Anne Marie (née. Montgomery) -A resident of Chatham, Anne Mann  passed away peacefully on February 8th, 2025 at the age of 90; one day shy of her 91st birthday.

Born in Chatham, Anne was the daughter of John and Muriel (née. Gosnell) Montgomery.Beloved wife of 49 years to Fred Mann (2004).Survived by her children, Daughter, Elizabeth Anne & Morris Lahey of Sombra, ON; Son, Ron & Terry (nee. Hughes) Mann of Chatham, ON.

Cherished Grandmother to Josh, Jesse & Rebecca, Joe & Kristin and  Great-Grandmother to Marlowe and Corah.

Predeceased by her Twin sibling Lee Montgomery and his spouse Dona (nee.Payne) and her Brother-in-Law Hub & Sister-in-law Audrey (nee. Mann) Green.

Anne will be missed by many Nieces and Nephews and extended family.

Anne was known for looking on the brighter side of things, battling M.S. for over 40 years gave Anne a different outlook on life, appreciating everything she had those who were in her life. Very seldom having a down day, always smiling and encouraging laughter with her sense of humour.  Anne was a teacher, a researcher, and a tutor for many years in Chatham-Kent. After graduating from C.C.I, Anne pursued further education in London, ON, graduating from Teachers' College; becoming employed with Chatham-Kent Board of Education. Her dedication to her family and her outlook of life spilled over into her profession.

Her family would like to say thank you to the staff of the 3rd Floor East Wing at Riverview Garden for all the care that they provided to Anne over the years.

From Anne's own words, "When things don't turn out as you expected or wanted; OH WELL! Go on your way. Keep smiling. It makes people wonder what you've been up to!"

An afteroon Visitation for Anne will take place on Thursday February 13th, 2025 from 2pm to 4pm and from 6pm to 8pm in the evening at McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham; a Funeral Celebration of Life will take place on Friday, February 14th, 2025 at 11am at the McKinlay Funeral Home with interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery.

Donations made in memory of Anne to the March of Dimes Canada, Multiple Sclerosis Society of Chatham-Kent  or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.Online condolences may be left at www.mckinlayfuneralhome.com
