Keller: Gail Diane (née Mawley) -

A lifelong resident of Chatham, Gail Keller passed away on Monday, February 17, 2025 at the age of 85.

Born in Chatham, Gail was the daughter of the late Ernest and Pearl (née Birch) Mawley.

Beloved wife of the late Mathew Keller (1975).

Loving mother of Kimberly Gaiswinkler (late Andrew), Susan Kendziora (late Victor) and Tracy Mazerolle (Reene).

Proud Grandma to Elyse Gaiswinkler (Tom Chambers), Lauren Gaiswinkler (Matt Babcock), Evan Gaiswinkler (April), Kane Kendziora (Jenny Nixon), Dylan Kendziora and Candace Mazerolle.

Cherished Gigi to Eden, the late Emmett, Wilder, Fox, Hazel and Zoey.

Predeceased by her brother William Mawley (late Pirjo).

Also predeceased by her in-laws Annie and George Klein.

Also missed by nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.

Gail retired from Union Gas after over 30 years of service. She was also a member of the Kent Regiment Chapter of the I.O.D.E. and the Red Hats. She was avid painter, specializing in watercolours. She loved playing cards and dominoes with her children and grandchildren.

Gail will be remembered for her devotion to her family and her chosen faith in the Catholic Church.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 6:00 - 8:00pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Church, 145 Victoria Ave, Chatham at 11:00am on Friday, February 21, 2025. Cremation to follow with a private family interment at Maple Leaf Cemetery at a later date.

Donations made in memory of Gail to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
