It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Francine Boucher-Garceau, who passed away on March 18, 2025 at the age of  71.

Born in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec she is predeceased by her parents Raoul and Rita (nee Cloutier-Boucher).

Beloved wife of 49 years to Paul Garceau.

Survived by Daughters, Fannie (Larry) Rego of Belle River, ON, Anne-Marie Garceau of Cornwall, ON; Son, Olivier (Sarah Stewart) Garceau of Markdale, ON; Sister, Christiane (Jean) Boucher-Lacerte of Joliette, Qc.

Grandmother of Owen, Michael, and Oliver Rego; Cole and Mackenzie Garceau; Adrian Andi Darwin, Gabriel Andi Darwin and Ismael Andi Darwin. Predeceased by grandson Noah Rego.

She will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends both here in Canada and around the world. Francine had many enjoyments in life: cooking, quilting, playing cards, traveling, especially to The Bahamas, Europe and Florida.  Francine was very proud of her French heritage and was an active member of La Girouette in Chatham. 

Francine's greatest love was her family, whom she adored spending time with, especially her grandchildren.

A Celebration of Francine’s life will be held at a later date.

Donations made in memory of Francine to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
