Jeff Drummond
April 26, 1976 - April 2, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeffery Wayne Drummond at the age of 48 years on April 2, 2025 after a short battle with cancer.
Jeff is the cherished son of Ron Drummond and Janet (stepmother) and Elizabeth St. Pierre (Walter 2017). Loving brother of Stacey Jones (Mike) and Adrian (Ann) Drummond. Very proud uncle and avid sports fan of Kylie and Taylor Jones and Della, Daisy and Archer Drummond.
Loved by his grandmother Kathleen Peltier (Douglas 2012) and predeceased by grandparents Ivan (2022) and Winnifred (2018) Drummond. He was loved by and will be greatly missed by his aunts, uncles and cousins.
Jeff was a truck driver and drove for several companies, but spent the majority of his career driving for Blain Trucking Ltd. in Tilbury, Ontario.
Jeff enjoyed sports. He loved spending time playing baseball and hockey with friends in his younger years and continued to watch and cheer on their children and his own nieces when they joined sports. He also enjoyed dirt track racing, refereeing hockey games, working on race cars and driving a race car himself. Jeff most of all enjoyed spending time with his long-time group of friends and their families. They were not just friends, but family to him. These friends were very supportive during Jeff's journey and were a great comfort to him.
The family would like to thank Jeff's nurse practitioners, his palliative care team and PSWs for all their support and care while Jeff was at home. We would also like to thank the Chatham Kent Hospice for the compassionate care that Jeff received during his stay.
Family to receive friends on Sunday, April 6, 2025 at the funeral home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham from 2:00-4:00 pm & 6:00-8:00 pm and on Monday, April 7, 2025 from 10 am until service time at 11:00 am. Cremation to follow the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations to the Chatham Kent Hospice or Randy Atkinson Memorial Fund (cash or cheques only) would be appreciated by the family
