Brown: Wilfred Jack -
A resident of St. Thomas, Wilfred Brown passed away peacefully at the St.Thomas Elgin General Hospital on April 21, 2025 at the age of 98.
Born in Harwich Township, Wilfred was the son of the late Guy and Ethel (née Burtch) Brown.
Reunited with loving wife Mary Louise (née DeCloedt) Brown.
Cherished father to Bill & Betty Brown. Dear Papa to Kimberly Popp. Forever remembered by his great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
Wilfred will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family would like to extend a thank you to the 5th floor staff at the St. Thomas Elgin General Hospital for their care and compassion they showed Wilfred and his family.
Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday, April 27, 2025 from 11:00 am until a Celebration of Wilfred's life at 12:00 pm. As per Wilfred's wishes, cremation will take place after the Funeral Service.
In Lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Wilfred to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
