Baughman, Leslie William
A resident of Chatham, Leslie "Slim" Baughman passed away surrounded by his family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on April 29, 2025 at the age of 83.
Born in Tilbury, ON, Leslie was predeceased by his parents Harold and Olive (Watson) Baughman and sister Linda Balasan.
Survived by his long time companion Linda Dube, his children Laurie Breton, Sue Baughman, Jeffrey Baughman, Shelly Brown, Sarah Hoekstra and Tammy Tedley. He will be missed by 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
Also survived by his siblings Ella Johnson (late Raymond), Donna Xenophontos (late Andy) and Harold Baughman and his wife Fran.
He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.
Slim will be remembered for his kindness, love of people, jokes, generosity and love of music and Kung Fu.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Sunday, May 4, 2025 from 2:00 to 4:00 pm & 6:00 to 8:00 pm. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Monday, May 5, 2025 at 11:00 am. Burial to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
Donations made in memory of Leslie to the Chatham Kent Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
