Gilbert: Janet Ann -
A resident of Chatham, Janet Gilbert passed away peacefully at home on June 3, 2025 at the age of 72.
Born in Chatham, Janet was the daughter of the late Shirley and Margaret (née Papps) Gilbert.
Reunited with life partner Mac.
Loving mother to Evan and Bryce (Vanessa).
Grandmother to Grady, Cullen, Niko and Michael.
Sister to Jo (Bob) Leach and sister-in-law Barb Gilbert.
Predeceased by siblings Walter (Barb) Gilbert, Lenora (Orren) Hooktwith and Peter (Dorothy) Gilbert.
Janet will be missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.
There will be a Celebration of Life in memory of Janet on Monday June 9, 2025 from 6:00pm - 9:00pm at The Moose Lodge, 850 Richmond St, Chatham ON, N7M 5J5.
Cremation has taken place.
Donations made in memory of Janet to a Charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
