Obituary of Maxine Blair

Maxine (Max) Blair

Born September 23rd, 1935 to Matthew & Olive (Morrison) Reaume

Loving mother of Michelle Blais-Lloyd (John Lloyd) passed away Tuesday, June 3rd at Chatham-Kent Hospice.

Predeceased by her sister Shirley Pearson and brother Morrison Reaume. Also her former husband Ray Blair.

Her kindness and stories of family memories will be missed by several nieces, nephews and cousins. Maxine was a resident of London for several years and most recently Blenheim. She also lived in Chatham, Windsor, LaSalle and St. Clair Beach as a head cashier for Gordons/Zehr's for 30 years.

She loved reading James Lee Burke novels, western movies, working on word puzzles and the Blue Jays who would have benefitted from her advice if only they had heard it. Her expertise at fitting two dogs on her recliner with her will be missed by Jaxxon and Daisy Mae.

Many thanks to Mary Beth Cadotte for her loving care and excellent advice over these last few months. Also thank you to the staff of Chatham-Kent Hospice who showed such kindness and compassion. The care received there is beyond comparison. Cremation has taken place and burial will occur at a later date.

Donations made in memory of Maxine to Chatham Kent Hospice or Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family.
