Obituary of John Kroeze
A resident of Chatham, John Kroeze passed peacefully on Sunday, June 22, 2025 at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home at the age of 96.
He was the son of the late Kars & Tryntje (nee Germs) Kroeze.
Remembered always by his wife, Ellen (nee Klompsma).
Dear father of Wes Kroeze & Rick Kroeze (the late Robin, 2024).
Grandfather of Alexander Kroeze (Stephanie) & Liz Neilson (John).
Great-grandfather of Dash Neilson, Finnley Neilson & Caleb Kroeze.
Predeceased by his sister & brother.
Fondly remembered by "aunt" Jean Plat and many other relatives, both in Canada and in the Netherlands.
Many thanks to the staff of Riverview Gardens for their wonderful care over the past few years.
Cremation has taken place.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, July 4th, 2025 at the McKinlay Reception Centre, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 12:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Words of Remembrance will be held at 1:30 pm.
In memory of John, donations may be made to Alzheimer's of Chatham-Kent or Doctors Without Borders.
