Obituary of Pat Gray

A resident of Chatham, Patricia Gray passed peacefully at Lifetimes on Riverside in Windsor on Friday, July 4th, 2025.

She was the daughter of the late John & Anna Mae (nee Sammon) Mount-Duckett.

Patricia will lovingly be reunited with her late husband, Douglas (Doug) Neil Gray (2018) and her late daughter, Christie Slote (2022).

Forever remembered by her daughters, Peggy (Brian Spitse) Green, Patti Gray and Alison Gray.

Special Grandma to Diata & Paul Girard, Carly & Alex Green, Pat & Graeme Matthew and 5 great-grandchildren.

Sister of the late Mary Mahoney, the late John Mount-Duckett, Anne Winterbottom & Susie Korchnak.

Predeceased by her in-laws, Don Mahoney, Gabe Mount-Duckett, Clare Winterbottom, and Joe Korchnak.

Survived by her in-laws, David Gray (Lois), Marg Pawelek (Rick) and many nieces, nephews and extended family.

Dear friend of Arlene Irwin.

Pat retired from Bell Canada after over 28 years of Service. She enjoyed her volunteering with Canadian Cancer Society, Canadian Red Cross, Meals on Wheels and Infant Hearing Assessment at Grace Hospital. Pat was a proud member of the Catholic Women's League, the Ladies Auxiliary and Alter Guild for over 24 years. A devoted member of St. Gabriel's in Windsor, St. Gregory's in St. Clair Beach, and St. Ursula's in Chatham. Pat loved to spend her time reading, doing crosswords, gardening and loved to travel. Her furry friends were very important to her.

The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to Dr. Rajabalee of Chatham and the staff of Lifetimes on Riverside for their compassionate care and love for Pat during her time there.

Family to receive friends on Monday, July 7, 2025 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 2:00 - 4:00 pm & 7:00- 9:00 pm. Vigil Prayers to be shared at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 1:00 pm at St. Ursula's Catholic Church, 205 Tweedsmuir Ave West, Chatham. Cremation to follow with interment in Greenlawn Memorial Cemetery, Oldcastle.

In memory of Pat, donations may be made to Alzheimer Society of Chatham-Kent, Heart & Stroke Foundation or a pet charity of your choice.
