Obituary of Helen Coyle
A resident of Chatham, Helen Coyle passed away at Riverview Gardens Nursing Home on Friday, August 1st, 2025 at the age of 97.
Born in Dover Township, Helen was the daughter of the late John & Viola (nee Countryman) Campbell.
She is reunited with her husband of 72 years, Gord Coyle (2021).
Loving mother to Diane Ronson (David) of Merlin, Joyce Corriveau (Jim) of Chatham, Wesley Coyle of BC and Ken Coyle (Charissa) of BC.
Proud Grandma to Deanna Ronson (Pete Guymer), Derek Ronson (Kristine), Devon Ronson (Sarah), Jason Corriveau (Taryn), Erin Corriveau (Bill Ross), Nicole Amundson, Kyle Coyle, Corey Coyle, Peter Coyle, Jordan Coyle, Hannah Coyle, Eilish Hansed, Grace Hansed, Kiara Coyle & Talia Coyle.
Great-Grandma to Landon and Arlee Ronson, Evan Corriveau, Ephram, Sydnee and Skylar Ross, Camden, Skylar and Brue Coyle, Mila Amundson, Sarah Coyle and Blair Coyle.
Sister of Maxine Paxton (Don), and sisters-in-law, Joanne Campbell and Gayle Campbell (Jim Brodie).
Predeceased by her sisters, Marion (Doug) Hutchison, Gladys (Jim) Lawrence and brothers Leo (Eunice) Campbell, Lyle (Doris) Campbell, Murray Campbell, Allan Campbell, John Campbell (Laverna).
Sister-in-law to Ruby Coyle (the late Robert).
Also missed by many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family.
Helen & Gord enjoyed their time camping at Cathcart Park. She spent many years working in Retail with Zellers and moving into selling for Avon. Helen could often be found knitting or crocheting various items. She will be dearly missed by her family.
Family to receive friends on Friday, August 8, 2025 at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham from 10:00 am until the Service begins at 11:30 am. Burial in Maple Leaf Cemetery.
Donations made in memory of Helen may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or charity of choice.
