DUBOIS, Gloria Ann (née Gilks)
1947-2025
Gloria, a wife and mother whose love never faltered, an unselfish and loyal friend, a spiritual woman - indomitable and trailblazing, died unexpectedly at Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham ON with her family by her side on Sunday, August 10th, 2025, at 78 years of age. She was born in Fredericton NB to the late Rae Flemming and Greta Oleavia (Wright) Gilks.
Her loss is mourned by her beloved husband of 57 years, Cyril DuBois; 3 children, Rachelle (Dennis) Swicheniuk of Saint John NB, Andrew (Heather) DuBois of Duncan BC and Melanie DuBois of Chatham ON; granddaughter, Melissa DuBois of Duncan BC; and 2 sisters, Doris (Samuel) Phillips of Saint John NB and Marita (Richard) Northrop of Woodstock NB.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 23rd, 2025, 2:00 PM EST from the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 9375 River Line, Chatham ON N7M 5J4. Graveside service to be held at Fredericton Rural Cemetery Extension, Woodstock Road at Golf Club Road, Fredericton NB (Coordinates: 45.96228--66.67451) on Sunday, September 21st, 2025 at 3:00PM AST.
