Slaughter: Joan Ann (nee) Launder
A resident of Chatham, Joan Slaughter passed away at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - Chatham Campus on August 14, 2025 at the age of 74.
Born in Chatham, Joan was the daughter of Bill and Edna (nee Bean) Launder.
Beloved wife of 40 years to Clarence (Brad) Slaughter (2015)
Survived by Son, James Slaughter and wife Nicole and granddaughter Laila.
She will be missed by her dear friends Barbara Chandler and her husband David and family, Diana and David Lambert and family, cousin Margie and friends Pam and Sue and many more.
Cremation has taken place.
Friends will be received at the Funeral Home 459 St. Clair St., Chatham on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 from 10:00 am until a Memorial Service at 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Joan to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
