It is with sorrow and sadness we announce the passing of Louis Christ at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance - Chatham Campus on Friday, September 5, 2025 at the age of 79.
Born in Chatham, raised on the family farm at McKay's Corners, Louis was the son of the late Louis and Justina (nee Kresan) Christ.
Survived by Brother, Joseph Christ (Sheila) and sister Marylou Evans (Karl). Predeceased by sister Frances Christ-Cummings.
Longtime companion of Jean Irrgan.
He will be missed by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, friends and neighbors. Will always be loved and remembered by his extended family.
A special thank-you to the attending physicians and nursing staff of the ICU of the Chatham-Kent Heath Alliance for their kind and compassionate care, in particular Dr. Maria Andrievskaya.
At Louis' request cremation has taken place and will be followed by a private family service and burial.
Donations made in memory of Louis to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or the Chatham Kent Hospice would be appreciated by the family.
