Obituary of Bill Park
William Francis Park
March 18th, 1945 – September 21st, 2025
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of William (Bill) Francis Park, aged 80, at Chatham-Kent Hospice. A beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, Bill lived a life marked by creativity, community, and deep devotion to family and friends.
Born in Windsor, Ontario, Bill was the son of Beverly D. and Hilda (Clark) Park, and brother to Donald (Diana) Park. He was predeceased by his brother Richard (Bonnie) Park.
Bill shared 53 wonderful years of marriage with his wife Jayne (Chittim). Together, they raised four children:
· Matthew Park (Jeeyoung)
· Ryan Park (Christina)
· Karen Park (Guillaume)
· Darren Park (Agnieszka)
He was a proud grandfather to Suji, Yuna, Niamh, Callum, Xavier, James, Loïc, Karolina, and Stella, each of whom brought him immense joy.
Bill pursued his education at the University of Windsor, earning both a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Commerce. His interest in design led him to open Park Interiors, where he offered his services as an interior designer. For Bill, his work was more than a career, it was his lifelong passion.
A man of many interests, Bill was an active member of the Chatham Granite Club, the Antique and Classic Car Club of Canada, and St. Paul’s-Victoria Avenue United Church. He found joy in curling, travel, card games, classic cars, and breakfast with friends. He had a unique eye for beauty and enjoyed upcycling found objects and scrap materials.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Bill’s life at the funeral home, 459 St. Clair St, Chatham on Wednesday, September 24th, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A Memorial Service will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, September 25th, at 11:00 AM.

Donations may be made to Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, St. Paul’s-Victoria Avenue United Church, or a charity of your choice.
