Hasson: Janet Dorothy (née Faubert) -
A resident of Chatham, Janet Hasson passed away at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on September 27, 2025 at the age of 86.
Born in Chatham, Janet was the daughter of the late Richard and Eva (née Chapple) Faubert.
Beloved wife of the late Gerald Hasson.
Dear sister to Donna Kendall (the late Carl), Wayne Faubert, and Rick Faubert.
Predeceased by James Faubert and Doris Wood.
Special Aunt to Cindy Webb (John), Marlene Guerin (Richard), Darlene Kendall, Cheryle Gilbert (Bruce), Margo Callaghan, Mark Faubert (Wanda), Tim Wood, Dany Faubert, Douglas Faubert, the late Brenda Kendall, the late Dawne Faubert, the late Patty Wood, and the late Brian Faubert.
Missed by step-son Dan Hasson (Marlene Brintnell).
She will be remembered by many friends and extended family.
Janet attended Gregory Drive Alliance Church and enjoyed doing bible studies. Janet could be found crocheting, quilting, sewing, plastic canvas, and traveling to many places.
Family to receive friends at the funeral home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Thursday, October 2, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm - 8:00pm. A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 11:00 am, with visiting from 10:00 am until the service time. Burial to follow in Maple Leaf Cemetery. Pastor Bob Beasley to officiate.
Donations made in memory of Janet to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or Gregory Drive Alliance Church would be appreciated by the family.
