Obituary of Shirley Jeanne Kitzul
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Shirley Kitzul who passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 5, 2025 at the age 85.
Shirley was the daughter of the late Clare & Dorothy (nee Smyth) Scott.
Proud mother of Greg Kitzul (Priscilla), Lori Kitzul (John) & Jeff Kitzul (Lisa).
Grandma of Camila, Nicholas, Christopher, Karlie & Mattea.
Sister of Lucy Anne Torrie, Bob Scott, Mary Scott, & Susan Scott.
Mom will be dearly missed by many nieces, nephews, friends, extended family and all who knew her.
Mom's pride and joy was being a mother and a grandmother. While working at Zellers & Maple City Gas, Shirley made many lifelong friendships. In her earlier years, she enjoyed gardening and sang for many years with the Sweet Adelines.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff of Riverview Gardens Nursing Home for their loving care and compassion during mom's time with them.
In keeping with mom's wishes, a Private Family Celebration will take place.
In memory of Shirley, donations may be made to the Parkinson's Society or to the Pet & Wildlife Rescue.
