Obituary of Lynda Laurine Montminy

Lynda Montminy, a resident of Tilbury, passed away peacefully at Hudson
Manor on December 9th, 2025 at the age of 86.

Born in Tilbury, Lynda was the daughter of the late Andrew and Nellie (née
Palmer) Taggart.

Beloved wife of 60 years to Francis.

Loving mother to John (Liana) Montminy and David (Jenny) Montminy.
Caring mémé to Andrew Francis Montminy.
Sister of Ruth (the late Valere), and the late Carol (the late Tom).
Sister in law to the late Paul (the late Beatrice), the late Corrine (the late
George), the late Theresa (Don), and the late Mary (the late Bill). 
She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

After a full career, Lynda retired as a teacher. She taught all elementary
grades and spent much of her career in Special Education. Lynda valued
volunteering her time at St. Francis Xavier Church from singing in the choir
to decorating. Lynda cherished time spent with friends.

Family to receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham
on Friday December 19, 2025 from 11:00 am until the Memorial Liturgy at
1:00pm. Private interment at St. St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Tilbury.
