Pierre was a proud farmer, farming all of his life in Dover Township until his retirement. Pierre grew up fast, taking over the operations of the farm and Martin Happy Hour Popcorn with his mother at the age of sixteen. He also worked at a number of area factories and built a lot of friendships along the way. He enjoyed his custom trucking, hauling fresh peas and seed corn for local farmers.

In the 70's, Pierre was a Dover Township Councillor for five years. He was a charter member of the Dover Kinsmen Club.

Pierre was an avid hunter and euchre player and enjoyed socializing with family and friends.

Pierre will be remembered for his commanding presence, his generosity and his love of family.

Special thanks to the staff at 'Medicine A' and 'Continuing Care' at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance as well as the PSWs through the LHIN and the staff and volunteers at the Chatham-Kent Hospice for the love and compassion they showed Pierre and our family.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, December 16, 2025 from 2:00 - 4:00pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm and on Wednesday, December 17, 2025 from 10:00am until the Funeral Service at 11:00am.
