Pinsonneault: Vincent Rudolph -
Vincent died peacefully on December 15, 2025 with his loving daughters by his side.
He was born in Chatham, May 18th, 1939. Son of the late Wilfrid and Bertha Pinsonneault. Son-in-law to the late Edmund and Philomena Gignac.
Beloved husband of 54 years to the late Christine (Gignac) Pinsonneault (1942 - 2018).
He will be missed by his dear friend Sherry Dejong.
Loving father of Laurette Carey and Will of Charing Cross, Elizabeth Verbeem and Paul of Chatham, and Vincent Jr. and Katrina of Chatham. Predeceased by Mary at birth in 1964.
Five grandchildren will sadly miss him as Pepere; Lauren Roels (Jeff), Ashlyne Bibby (Mark), Branden Verbeem (Jocelyn), Brittaney (Dominique), and Bradley Verbeem (Kristin).
He has one great-granddaughter Raven Roels that loved him dearly and called him "Pepe with the fish".
Dearest brother of Rolande Chauvin, Carmel Chauvin, Roberte Thomas, Anne Louise Sturch. Predeceased by three brothers, Gerard, Roger, Pierre Louis, and sisters, Pauline Bourassa and Marguerite Gagnier.
Vincent worked at King Grain for 31 years, he was a custodian for the Separate School Board, and then for Blessed Sacrament Church. He has been a member of the Knights of Columbus Council in Pain Court since 1968. He was also a member of the Father James Assembly of Chatham since 1974. Vincent was born and raised in Pain Court and then moved to Chatham in 1987. He has been very active in society as a School Board Trustee (13 years), as well as a Chairman of the Kent County Catholic Board of Education (2 years), he was very active in the Knights of Columbus (57 years), Financial Secretary (23 years), Charter Grand Knight and Past Grand Knight, Past Faithful Navigator, Faithful Comptroller and Past District Deputy. Vincent also belonged to Le Club de l'Amitie in Pain Court.
Family to receive friends at the funeral home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Sunday, December 21, 2025 from 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm and 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm. Vigil Prayers will be held at 7:00 pm, followed by Knights of Columbus Prayer Service and Honour Guard Walk-Through. A Funeral Mass will take place at Blessed Sacrament Church, 145 Victoria Ave, Chatham at 10:00 am on Monday, December 22, 2025 Cremation to follow.
Donations made in memory of Vincent to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Right to Life Kent, Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation, or a Mass left with Blessed Sacrament Parish would be appreciated by the family.
