Moon: Joyce Anne (née Trudell) -
A resident of Chatham, Joyce Moon passed away surrounded by family at Riverview Gardens on December 18, 2025 at the age of 79.
Born in Chatham, Joyce was the daughter of the late Walter and Gladys (née Crowley) Trudell.
Beloved wife to William Moon.
Loving mother to Carrie (Shawn) Renaud and Ryan W. Moon (Stephanie Lapierre) .
Granny to Hannah Renaud, Mitchell Renaud, Alexandre Moon, and William Moon.
Sister to Jean, Mary, Susan, and Rick.
Predeceased by siblings Ron, Pat, Dennis, Bill, David, Tom, and Ken.
She will be missed by many nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Joyce was a great wife, mother, sister, and grandmother.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the staff at Riverview Gardens for their care and compassion.
Family to receive friends at the funeral home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Monday, December 29, 2025 from 1:00 pm, until the Funeral Service at 3:00 pm. Cremation to follow. An interment will take place at a later date.
Donations made in memory of Joyce to Riverview Gardens - Long Term Care or to Sleeping Children Around the World would be appreciated by the family.
