Obituary of Marguerite Leveille
Marguerite (Phaneuf) Leveille
May 28, 1925 – December 26, 2025.
A century has passed since Marguerite blessed her parents Cleo and Stella with her birth. Her beautiful soul now rises into heaven, reaffirming her endless love and dedication to her husband Ernie and their life as one.
Forever the amiable one, Marguerite confronted the changes in her life, but never lost her loving memory of the family home.
Marg was forever the caring mother of her six children.
Her sons Bill Leveille and life partner Robin Chartrand; Tom Leveille and his wife Lynn; Jim Leveille and his wife Jackie. Daughters Joanne and her husband Bill Canning; Ruth and her husband Ryan Tinline; Lisa and her husband Rick Postma.
Proud Mémé of grandchildren Vickie Canning; Ashley and Brett Clouthier; Mike Canning; Stephanie Leveille; Joseph and Jennifer Leveille; Amanda and Frank Wall; Cullen and Stacey Tinline; Lauren and Gerald MacKichan; Nicole and Mark Preston; Nicholas and Dillon Postma. Marguerite’s family circle includes fifteen great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the McKinlay Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 2:30 - 4:30pm and 6:00 - 8:00pm.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Blessed Sacrament Parish, 145 Victoria Ave, Chatham at 11:00am on Wednesday December 31, 2025.
Interment will follow at a later date at Maple Leaf Cemetery in Chatham.
Donations made in memory of Marguerite to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
