Newham: Jamie -
A resident of Merlin, Jamie Newham passed away at home on December 28, 2025 at the age of 60.
Born in Chatham, Jamie was the son of Maxwell and Audrey Newham.
Survived by his daughter Sabrina & her husband Eric, along with his grandchildren Georgia and Emerson.
Beloved brother to Randy (Janet), Lynda (Roger), Danny (Sandra) and Joan (Jerry).
Forever remembered by Al and his chosen Merlin crew. Jamie will be dearly missed by several nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Jamie worked at the family business for nearly 35 years until his retirement.
As per the wishes of the family a private gathering will take place with cremation to follow.
A Celebration of Life will take place at the Merlin Legion on Saturday January 10th, 2026 from 1pm to 4pm.
Donations made in memory of Jamie to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #465 or to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
