A resident of Ridgetown, Stan Kravić passed away at home on January 1, 2026 at the age of 79.
Born in Sarajevo, Stan was the son of the late Vojislav and Ratimira (née Vukovac) Kravić.
Beloved husband of 38 years to Amila (née Sarajlić).
Loving father to Sanja Kravić, Ana Kravić and Damir Kapetanovic (Christina).
Dedo to Marko, Luka, Niko, Luka and Roko.
Will be missed by nephew Denijel Kravić and niece Dejana.
Stan loved knowledge and was a firm believer you could always learn something from any situation. He enjoyed learning about history and was known for his sense of humour. Stan loved his wife Amila more than anything, finding joy, love and comfort in their relationship. He enjoyed fishing and learned to make his own baits. He was a gardener and loved food. Stan adored his grandsons and would take every opportunity he could to spend time with them.
Stan's wishes were to be cremated and buried in his hometown Sarajevo in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
Donations made in memory of Stan to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
