Obituary of Marie Wright
WRIGHT: Marie Rita (nee Ament) - A resident of Ridgetown and formerly of Montreal, Marie Wright passed away on January 26, 2026 at the age of 90.
Born in Langenburg, Saskatchewan, Marie was the daughter of the late Bill and Annie (Bergman) Ament.
Beloved wife of Allan Wright.
Loving mother of Patrick Wright.
Predeceased by her brother James Ament (late Delores).
Marie retired from Canada Post after many years of service. She was an active member of the Erie Street United Church and the IODE.
As per Marie’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 76 Main Street East, Ridgetown on Friday, February 20, 2026 from 12:00pm until the Memorial Service at 1:00pm. Interment to follow at Greenwood Cemetery.
Donations made in memory of Marie to the Erie Street United Church would be appreciated.
