Obituary of Guy Morin
MORIN, Joseph Guy -
It is with deep sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Guy Morin on March 17, 2026, in Chatham, Ontario, with family at his side. He was 70 years old.
Born on January 25, 1956, in Drummond, New Brunswick, Guy was one of 13 children of the late Alphé Morin and the late Leanne Moreau. He was a proud carpenter by trade, working with his hands throughout his entire life, and a mentor to many in his trade.
Guy will be lovingly remembered by his children, Kevin Morin (Sarah Cation) and Karen Morin; their mother, Lynda Morin (Michaud); and his grandchildren, Frazer and Alexa. He is also survived by his many brothers and sisters.
Guy was predeceased by his parents and by his siblings Alyre Morin, Guildor Morin, and Giselle Morin.
In keeping with Guy's wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held in Drummond, New Brunswick, in the summer of 2026, where Guy will be returned to his hometown.
