Marks: Lynda Gail (née Allems) -
Lynda Gail Marks was born on August 1, 1946, and passed away peacefully on March 22, 2026, in Chatham, Ontario.
Lynda was the beloved daughter of John and Blossom Allems and a sister to the late Darlene Carter (Bill). She is survived by her daughter, Emily Marks.
She will be fondly remembered by her nieces, Sarah Heaps (Dan) and Hilary Carter, and by her great-niece and great-nephew, Nathan and Avery Heaps, all of whom brought her great pride and joy.
Lynda had a deep love for watching football and never missed the chance to enjoy good food and even better conversation. She was known for her humour, her opinions, and her ability to make time spent together feel meaningful and memorable.
Lynda’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her, and she will be remembered for the simple joys she embraced and the connections she treasured throughout her life.
A private family burial will be held at Park Lawn Cemetery, Toronto.
Donations made in memory of Lynda to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
