Obituary of Patricia Elizabeth Faubert

Faubert: Patricia Elizabeth "Betty"-

A resident of Chatham-Kent, Betty Faubert passed away peacefully at Chatham-Kent Hospice, surrounded by her family on Friday, April 17, 2026 at the age of 97.

Daughter of the late Raymond and Elizabeth (Broad) Faubert.

Mother of Pauline (Ron Barnes), Ronald (Molly), Jeannine (John Saul) and John-Marc Faubert.

Survived by 10 grandchildren and fifteen great-grandchildren.

Survived by one sister Shirley VanCaille.

Predeceased by her other brothers and sisters.

Also missed by many nieces, nephews friends and extended family.

Betty was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a dedicated volunteer at St. Joseph's Hospital for over 30 years, running the gift shop as well as giving communion to the sick. Betty's quilting club donated many quilts of comfort to those in need within the community.

Betty was a member of the former St. Agnes Parish as well as the Immaculee Conception Parish, where she was active within the Ladies of St. Anne. Betty canvased for the Canadian Cancer Society for many years.

Special thanks to the staff and volunteers at St. Andrew's Residence, the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance Medicine B and the Chatham-Kent Hospice for their care and compassion. An extra special thank you to Dr. Wolting and Dr. Stone for their exceptional care and thoughtfulness.

Family will receive friends at the Funeral Home, 459 St. Clair Street, Chatham on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 10:00am until the Funeral Liturgy at 12:00pm. Interment to follow at St. Anthony Cemetery, Chatham.

In lieu of flowers, donations made in memory of Betty to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or a charity of your choice would be appreciated.
