Obituary of Patsy Morrow

Morrow, Patsy Jean (née Freeman)

August 4, 1943 – May 13, 2026

At the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Wednesday, May 13, 2026, Patsy Morrow passed away peacefully in her 83rd year.

Survived by Ken and her children Shawn (Nancy), Kelly, and Casey (John).

Cherished Grams and Nana to Sadie, Julia, Lily, and Harper, as well as furry grandbabies Lila, Maeve, and Poppy.

Patsy was the beloved sister of Carol (Ranald), Judi, Bill (Kathy), and her “sister from another mother,” Bonnie. She will also be lovingly remembered by her Aunt Evelyn, many nieces and nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Predeceased by her parents, Al and Effie Freeman; siblings Joanne, Alan, Johnny, and Gary.

The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at the Chatham-Kent Hospice for the compassionate care shown to Patsy during her stay.

As per Patsy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2026 at McKinlay Funeral Home, 141 Park Street, Blenheim from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm. Words of Remembrance will be held at 1:30 pm. To honour Pat's vibrant spirit, family and friends are encouraged to wear bright, cheerful colours to the Celebration of Life. Red was Pat's favourite colour.

In memory of Patsy, donations may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation or to a local hospice of your choice.
