Obituary of Dr. Ronald L Scott
It is with great sadness that the family of Dr. Ronald L. Scott announce his passing on Wednesday, May 20, 2026, surrounded by his wife and daughters, at the age of 78.
He was the son of the late Francis & Evelyn (nee Kinchen) Scott.
Remembered always by his wife of 53 beautiful years, Rose Marie (nee O'Neil).
Proud father of Andrea Stuart (Ken) & Laurie Jahnke (Aaron).
Grandpa of Kayla Brambles (Daniel), Amelia & Eden Jahnke.
Great-grandpa of Kai & Scarlett Brambles.
Missed by the O'Neil family and many nieces & nephews.
Ron was a compassionate Dentist for over 40 years, serving the Chatham-Kent community. He enjoyed golfing and sharing laughs with family and friends.
The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the PSW's and Nurses on the Palliative Care Team and to the Chatham-Kent Hospice for their kindness and genuine care.
Cremation and a Private Family Service have taken place. A Celebration of Life will held at a later date.
In memory of Ron, donations may be made to the Chatham-Kent Hospice Foundation.
