Obituary of Betty Anchor
A resident of Chatham since 1979, Elizabeth "Betty" Anchor passed away on Sunday, May 24, 2026 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance at the age of 90.
She was the daughter of the late James & Margaret (nee Armstrong) Brown from England.
Betty will be lovingly reunited with her late husband, Frank (2023) and remembered always by her children, Elizabeth Fields (Broderick), John Anchor (Marlene) & Alison Anchor.
Nana of Sabrina, Brandon, Amanda, Jessica & Rebecca.
Great-nana of Issak, Ava, Weston, Donald, Sonya & Christopher.
Betty enjoyed spending time in her garden, watching the flowers grow. She was an excellent cook and specializing in confectionary baking. Lovingly cared for many pets over the years.
The family would like to extend their appreciation to the Nursing staff of Medicine Floor 4 for their compassionate care.
As per Betty's wishes, cremation has taken place.
In memory of Betty, donations may be made to a local animal charity of your choice.
