Brink: Rita (née Jansen) -
A resident of Chatham, Rita Brink passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at the age of 67. Her suffering is over and now beholds the face of Jesus, her Saviour.
Born in Chatham, Rita was the daughter of Henry and Christina (née Wissink) Jansen.
Beloved wife of 48 years to George Brink.
Survived by her children and grandchildren Michael and Leslie Brink, Grace, Lydia, Emily and Tyler; Christina Kamerman, Hayley, Brayden and Megan; Jodi and Simon Lievaart, Joash, Sophia, Annalise, Keziah and Owen. Her mother Christina Jansen and her sisters Wilma Jansen and Liz (Bill )Visser. Also survived by her brothers-in-law John, Jim (Corry-d), Stuart (Deb), Tom (Carlene), Ed (Marg) and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her father Henry Jansen and brother Al Jansen and in-laws George and Trudy Brink.
Friends will be received at the funeral home, 459 St. Clair St, Chatham on Thursday, June 4, 2026 from 6:00 to 8:00 pm and at Living Hope Free Reformed Church, 159 Gregory Drive East, Chatham on Friday, June 5, 2026 from 10:00 am until Funeral Service at 11:00 am. Interment to follow at Maple Leaf Cemetery, Chatham.
Donations made in memory of Rita to Chatham Christian Schools would be appreciated by the family.
