With great sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Robert Richard Philip Lawrence, a resident of Duart, who passed away at his residence on August 6, 2026, at the age of 87.
Born in London, Robert was the beloved son of the late Edward and Alice (née Seed) Lawrence.
Cherished father of Charles (Rose) Lawrence and Tracy (Graydon) Lawrence. Proud and loving grandfather to Kaelyn, Maguire, and Hunter.
Robert will be fondly remembered for his gentle nature, kind heart, and warm smile. Known by all who met him as one of the sweetest people you could know, he found great joy in woodworking and had a lifelong passion for collecting eclectic treasures-items that others may have called "junk," but to Robert, each had its own story and purpose. His quiet kindness and generous spirit touched the lives of many and will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Robert's Life will be held at a later date.
